Hal:if there is a need for a general "l3d students" alias we could have that and an l3d-core-students alias and only include l3d-core-students in l3d-coreCorrina:To me, the only thing not addressed by this is - what if you want to send something to only l3d-core (i.e. just staff) but not l3d-students? If l3d-core includes students, that won't work.Hal:one issue was that often other interested students get grouped in with l3d-students, which violates the need for semi-privacy in that alias as part of l3d-corei thought those could go into either l3d-forum or l3d-local depending on whether they wanted just meeting announcements, or announcements and discussion. alternatively we could have l3d-students and l3d-core-students, as i mentioned before.
i agree with corrina regarding the usefulness of the l3d-associates
for the non-student core group.
