- Short Assignment 1: Handed out 1/15/04, Due 1/22/04. Paper Automaton Construction -- construct the
paper automaton, and submit a one-page response which details the mechanical workings of the object and
things you observed when constructing it. Please be prepared to demo and discuss your automaton in
class on 1/22.
