In May, 2009 I accepted a software engineering position at UNAVCO, a non-profit consortium that facilitates geoscience research and education using geodesy. It is exciting to be able to combine my research experience in human-computer interaction with my industry experience in software engineer and apply it to cutting edge applied geoscience. I am really enjoying this change.

In April of 1998 I accepted a research faculty position at the University of Colorado at Boulder working for the Center for LifeLong Learning and Design (L3D).

The roots of my infatuation with academia can be traced back to when I was six years old.

In October of 1997, NexData Solutions, Inc. was formed when Information Handling Services Inc. (IHS®) acquired the Data Services Business of Dataware Technologies, Inc. Dataware still exists, but the Boulder office is now owned by IHS.

In March of 1997 I accepted a position as a software developer with Dataware Technologies in Boulder, CO to develop commercial CD-ROM applications using Microsoft's Visual C++ and a proprietary database engine designed specifically for large datasets and rapid retrieval.

From 1989 to 1997 I worked as a software developer for AT&T, and Lucent Technologies. This was a fantastic place to begin my career.
