The EDC framework supports problem solving tasks by unifying two tightly integrated spaces, an action space and a reflection space. This helps communities of stakeholders to confront complex or wicked problems by allowing them to explore and more fully understand the problem space. It also helps the community to capitalizes on the synergy created by their collective knowledge and cognitive abilities.
