Blogging: Past, Present and Future
Abstract
I will discuss my research on both individually
authored blogs and political blogs. I argue that blogs are a form of social activity
rather than journals or diaries. The empirical research was conducted in Spring
2003 in and around Stanford University, and November 2003-Feburary 2004 at the
Howard Dean campaign headquarters in Burlington, Vermont.
