Technologies Enabling Greater Interaction
in Large Classrooms
Abstract
This meeting will explore ways to create technologies
that can help make large instructional classrooms more interactive. It will explore
the interdependencies between instructional theories and technologies.
First, three technological approaches will be presented, demonstrated and
discussed:
- the use of clickers (Bill Beachley)
- FEEL (Feedback Enhanced Environment for
Learning; Jun Chen)
- MTRoom (Dan Mayer)
Second, we will brainstorm potential future developments based on the three
systems discussed. If you already have ideas about what you want to do
in the
future, please be prepared to introduce those ideas.
