Making RE personal: requirements engineering
applied to one user at a time
Abstract
I will report on two projects that focus on
the traumatic brain injury population: (1) our construction of the tools and
processes that support email use (now ongoing for 4+ years), and (2) our first
findings on tools and processes that support community navigation. I will argue
that a typical RE process, which would use a one-size-fits-all perspective, will
fail with the TBI population. My group has been looking at alternative methods
that gather individual goals and then monitor and adapt software/hardware to
meet changing needs.
