The presentation will be on my proposed pos-doc working plan. The main objective is to define user models, from which metadata related to personalization (adaptation) of education materials could be identified. It takes into consideration: (a) cognitive differences among potential users of these educational materials; (b) research efforts on personalization; and (c) the categorization map for multimedia and hypermedia models (result of my doctoral work). Standardization efforts for educational technology will be considered.
